About Warplanes: Online Combat and How It Plays

You play as a WW2 fighter pilot sent on a range of missions. Your job is to destroy enemies and gather resources, which you spend on new aircraft or on repairing and upgrading the planes you already own to improve their maneuverability and firepower.

There is no storyline: every round starts in the hangar and ends on the battlefield. Completing missions unlocks the next ones until you clear the whole map. Controls are simple, so aiming, firing machine guns and rockets, and maneuvering feel easy from the start.

As you fly you earn experience, ranks and medals of honor, and you can climb the global leaderboard as a veteran pilot. The game holds a 4.0 out of 5 rating on the Android store.

Game Modes and Aircraft

Missions come in four modes:

• Deathmatch: classic PvP combat.
• Team Deathmatch: lead a squadron and beat the opposing team.
• Last Man Standing: be the last plane left in the sky.
• Community Co-Op: team up against AI-controlled enemies.

The roster includes more than 80 warplanes, all from World War II, among them the Spitfire, Il-2 Sturmovik, P-40 and Ju 87 Stuka, each modeled with close attention to detail. Large maps feature varied weather and day and night cycles, backed by realistic 3D graphics, explosion effects and strong engine and gunfire sound design.
