About The Walking Dead: Survivors and How It Plays

You are stranded in a post-apocalyptic world, surrounded by zombies on every side. Staying alive is the goal, but the walkers never stop coming, and they want nothing more than to turn you into one of them.

Gameplay is split into two halves: town building and combat. On the building side, you make key decisions and raise different structures with the help of other survivors, creating a shelter that keeps you safe when the horde attacks. Buildings can be upgraded to strengthen your defenses over time.

Combat uses a turn-based system. You command a roster of characters and deploy each one where it works best, including familiar faces such as Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne and Clementine. A range of weapons is also available, each affecting zombies in its own way.

Modes and Content

Once your first shelter is up, the next task is finding other survivors and uniting them. They help expand your town and fight by your side, and each one can be trained to suit the role they play.

You will explore an unknown wasteland in search of the best resources, gathering supplies to support your people and construct new buildings. For players who enjoy the social side, you can form a clan or ally with other players, and several modes let you compete against players from around the world.
