What is The Battle of Polytopia?

Fans of civilization-building games will feel right at home here. This page offers The Battle of Polytopia APK download for Android in its latest XAPK release, free from GNVID. Developed by Midjiwan AB, it is one of the most popular turn-based strategy games on mobile, delivering a Civilization-style experience in a compact, approachable package that you can play offline.

The Battle of Polytopia gameplay explained

You take charge of a small tribe and turn it into a thriving empire, one turn at a time. Starting from a single city, you explore nearby land, gather resources and research new technologies.

Exploration, farming, construction, research and warfare all feed into each other. Every technology unlocks new units and buildings, and you must balance expansion against the threat of rival tribes controlled by the AI.

The blocky, retro-inspired visuals are simple yet charming and easy to read, and lively sound effects keep the action engaging.

Modes, tribes and content

Maps are randomly generated every match, so no two games play alike. Choose your tribe and venture through the cold, dark forests of Bardur, the tropical jungles of Kickoo, or march to conquer the lands of the Imperius empire.

There are three main game modes:

Perfection: score as many points as possible within a set number of turns.
Domination: wipe out every other tribe to rule the map.
Creative: customize the match to your liking.

Beyond single-player, you can take on players around the world in online multiplayer and climb the leaderboards. The game supports both portrait and landscape orientation and receives regular updates with new features.

On Google Play it has passed 5 million downloads with a 4.1 out of 5 rating.
