What is Brawlhalla and how does it play?

It is a 2D platform fighter. You jump, strike, dodge and try to knock opponents off the stage with heavy hits or wear them down until they drop. Scoring is based on how many times you defeat your rivals.

The action is fast-paced, and quick reactions decide every match. Points and coins earned in battle let you buy items and add new fighters to your roster.

There are more than 50 Legends, each with its own fighting style, weapons and skills, plus crossover guests such as Ryu, Aang, Master Chief and Ben 10.

Brawlhalla offers over 20 modes, including Ranked, Free-for-all, 1v1, 2v2 and a range of fun party modes. Some modes support up to 8 players at once.

• Private rooms: play with up to 8 friends.

A seasonal ranking system with rewards, weekly events, tournaments and challenges with cosmetic items keep things fresh, and regular updates add new Legends, maps and modes.
