What is PUBG Mobile Beta?

Want to see what the next PUBG Mobile update brings before everyone else? This PUBG Mobile Beta APK download for Android gives you the official test client from Tencent Games, free and in its latest version, 4.7.4. It is where new content is tried out before it lands in the main release.

What PUBG Mobile Beta is and how it plays

After PUBG Mobile and the lighter PUBG Lite, Tencent Games released a separate Android app called PUBG Mobile Beta. It works as a testing ground that comes ahead of each major update to the original game.

It is not a spin-off or a trimmed-down edition like Lite. The gameplay, graphics and design language are the same as the main game. The beta was built mainly for skilled players, developers and bug testers who find issues and report them back to the studio, but it is publicly available, so many casual and new players download it too.

The core loop is unchanged: you drop in with dozens of other players online, scavenge for resources and weapons, protect yourself, hunt down opponents and fight to be the last one standing.

Modes and test content

The beta is where new seasons, sections and features appear before they are finalized. Players who know PUBG Mobile will spot plenty of changes right away, including test modes such as Metro Royale, Payload, Infection Mode and Arena, plus Arcade Mode – War, a team-based mode that leans on squad combat rather than classic battle royale rules.

You will also find new weapons, items, maps and locations, along with Matchmaking and weapon balance tweaks that are still being tuned. Social features like chat, friends and alliances are tested here as well, with support for multiple languages and regional servers.

Some builds run beta-only events with special rewards for active testers, and you can report bugs and send suggestions directly to help the developers.

Requirements and installing the APK

You need a device running Android 5.0 or later. The APK is about 1327 MB, so make sure you have enough free storage. The game is rated 12+ and needs a constant internet connection; it cannot be played offline.

To install, download the APK from GNVID, allow installs from unknown sources in your device settings, then open the file and follow the prompts. Note that access in some beta builds may require registration or an invitation from the developer.
