Woodturning APK download for Android: how the game plays

Each customer orders a specific object, and its outline is drawn on the log as guide lines. Using the lathe and special carving knives, you cut the wood to follow those lines as closely as possible.

The fewer mistakes you make, the better the finished piece. Controls are simple enough for any age, yet clean, precise cuts take focus and patience, which is exactly what makes the game both challenging and relaxing.

Simple but realistic 3D visuals, soft background music and authentic carving and sanding sounds make you feel like you are standing in a real workshop.

Stages, tools and content

Every order is split into three steps:

• Carving: cut the log along the drawn lines to get the basic shape.
• Polishing: use a sponge pad to smooth the piece and clear away shavings.
• Painting and decorating: color the object and apply patterns, the most laid-back part of the game and a nice reward after the precise work.

There are many levels with gradually rising difficulty and fresh designs, plus a range of tools such as knives, saws and sandpaper. Daily missions and special goals hand out rewards, while a scoring and progression system unlocks new designs and tools.

The game is free to play with optional in-app purchases and has passed 50 million downloads on Google Play, making it one of the best-known casual simulation games.
