This is a traffic racer, one of the most popular racing sub-genres. You drive a classic car through city streets and out-of-town roads, and your biggest obstacle is everyone else on the road.

The further you get in a run, the denser the traffic becomes, so weaving between vehicles at speed is your top priority. A single crash into a car heading your way or driving ahead of you ends the run and sends you back to the start.

Gameplay stays close to the first game, with small refinements; the main change is the car roster, now made up of beloved classic models based on real vehicles. Scoring rewards risk: overtaking at high speed, driving at night or going against traffic earns extra points and cash.

The realistic 3D graphics look sharp for the download size, and you can adjust graphics quality in the settings. Handling is smooth and responsive.

Game modes, cars and content

There are five modes to choose from:

• Career: progress through a series of stages.
• Multiplayer: race other players in real time.
• Endless: drive as far as you can for a high score.
• Time Trial: beat the clock.
• Free Ride: cruise with no objectives.

Over 40 customizable classic cars are available, and some special VIP models require a golden ticket to unlock. Money earned in races lets you buy new cars and upgrade the engine, brakes, nitro and handling.

Races take place across 5 environments, including dirt roads, city streets and highways. You also get 100 online missions with special rewards for active players. In multiplayer, timing your nitro well is the key to overtaking. There are no fuel or time limits, and sharing your results with friends earns bonus rewards.
