The Vikings APK download for Android: how the game plays

The Vikings were fearless Scandinavian warriors whose weapon of choice was the axe, and the game is built entirely around that idea. You control a Viking fighter facing off against enemy Vikings, and your goal is to land a hit before they land one on you.

Aiming is done with a drag mechanic. Press your finger on the screen, pull to set the angle and power, then let go and your warrior hurls the axe along that path. Your opponents fight back with their own weapons, so quick reactions and accurate throws decide every duel.

Modes and content

There are two main ways to play. The single-player mode takes you through hundreds of distinct levels with difficulty that rises gradually, and it works without an internet connection. The online mode pits you against players from around the world in head-to-head PvP battles and requires a connection.

Along the way you will meet archers, swordsmen and dangerous sorcerers, and some fights take place between opposing war towers for a more tactical feel. You can collect and upgrade gear such as axes, helmets and shields to make your warrior stronger, all set against an epic backdrop inspired by Norse mythology.
