Strange Telephone for Android

GNVID brings you Strange Telephone, the adventure game for Android, in its latest version 2.0.3 as a free APK download from fast servers.

The game was initially released on most major gaming platforms in 2017, and due to its growing success, it was also ported to mobile. Strange Telephone is a strange game. It doesn’t even bother to introduce its story to the player at the beginning. After a very short tutorial to learn the basics and mechanics of the game, the adventure begins, and you find yourself immersed in its world. Jill, the heroine, wakes up in a strange space that resembles a vacuum and discovers a large, locked door in front of her. At first, Jill seems alone and trapped in this environment. Fortunately for her, her friend Graham, a flying phone, is by her side. Jill possesses no supernatural powers, but she can dial six digits for Graham to teleport her to another world. In most of these worlds, Jill encounters objects and characters with whom she can interact and communicate. However, some of these objects and characters are dangerous to Jill and pose a threat. The main objective of Strange Telephone is to explore the game’s various worlds and solve puzzles using the objects you find. You must discover objects in these different worlds to solve the puzzles. Ultimately, you will have to unlock the great door by solving these puzzles, escape the world where you are trapped, and return to your own.

Instead of vast worlds, Strange Telephone offers millions of smaller worlds, each just a few steps away from the previous one. Moving left or right on the screen transports Jill to a new world, completely different from the one she was in. Of course, the game doesn’t have millions of worlds. There are only about a dozen, but each time you explore one, you’ll notice differences in the characters, objects, and so on. Fortunately, you can pick up a special item at the beginning that lets you preview worlds before entering them, preventing you from getting lost. Overall, even though Strange Telephone encourages you to figure things out on your own, most objects and characters are easy to identify and make solving the puzzles straightforward. That said, it’s worth noting that some puzzles can seem illogical and require a trial-and-error approach, which isn’t a flaw in the game. It seems that, to preserve the game’s surreal atmosphere, some puzzles are deliberately designed to be strange and particularly difficult to solve. But rest assured, these complex, strange, and non-linear puzzles—whatever you call them—won’t detract from your gaming experience in the slightest. This title will undoubtedly rank among the best adventure and puzzle games you’ve ever seen. Beyond its exceptional gameplay, this game boasts charming 2D pixel art graphics and gorgeous sound effects, promising a true trip down memory lane for all gamers nostalgic for the games of the ’80s and ’90s.
