Gameplay blends real-time strategy, RPG elements and tower defense. You build and manage a base, gather scarce supplies before rivals reach them, and rescue survivors to grow your group. The game uses a third-person view with 3D graphics showing ruined cities and many types of zombies.

Modes and content

Your base grows through military, research, medical and defensive buildings, fueled by five resources: food, wood, metal, gas and biochemicals.

• Heroes: controllable characters with special skills for PvE and PvP battles.
• Research: study the virus and unlock survival and military technologies that boost power and efficiency.
• Alliances: cooperate, chat, send help and fight group wars.
