Sky: Children of the Light for Android

Sky: Children of the Light is a calm, artful adventure set above the clouds, and this page offers the Sky: Children of the Light APK download for Android in its latest version, 0.35.1, packaged as an XAPK. It comes from the American studio thatgamecompany, best known for Journey (2012), a game nominated for dozens of awards and named Game of the Year in 2013. Sky builds on that same spirit and brings it to mobile as a free-to-play title.

Story and Gameplay of Sky: Children of the Light

The game takes place in the Kingdom of Sky, a legendary land floating among the clouds. For centuries it was the most beautiful and lively place in the world, largely thanks to the stars that surrounded it. When the kingdom faced a great trial, the stars failed because of their pride, and a curse fell over the land, leaving it deserted.

You play as one of the Children of the Light, whose purpose has always been to spread hope and life. Your journey is to follow the lights, uncover what happened, and find the ancestral spirits tied to the tragedy so life can return to the kingdom.

Sky is a fully 3D open world. You can run, leap over obstacles, swim, and, best of all, fly freely using spirit wings powered by light energy. On-screen virtual controls and a 360-degree camera make movement smooth, and the game supports 60 frames per second on capable devices.

Realms, Content and Social Play

There are 7 sky realms to explore, each with its own artistic identity. The minimalist art style relies on dynamic lighting and shifting colors, giving scenes a console-like polish. Meeting spirits along the way unlocks new abilities and expressions for your character.

Social interaction sits at the heart of the experience. You share the world with other players on global servers in a peaceful setting built around cooperation and empathy rather than competition. You can personalize your character with outfits and accessories, and seasonal events regularly add new items and experiences. An emotional soundtrack and cinematic sound design round out a relaxing atmosphere.

The game is free to play, with optional in-app purchases mostly focused on cosmetic items.
