Shadow of the Depth for Android

Looking for a punishing action game where every move matters? This Shadow of the Depth APK download for Android gets you the latest version 1.1.8 in XAPK format, free on GNVID. Developed by ChillyRoom, the game blends fast combat, survival and classic roguelike elements in a grim world drawn in pixel art.

Shadow of the Depth story and gameplay

You follow Arthur, the blacksmith’s son, whose village was overrun by hordes of monsters and burned to the ground. His father was killed in the slaughter, and Arthur set out on an endless path of fighting and vengeance.

He is not alone. A swordsman, a hunter, a mage and others have also stepped into the abyss, each starting an adventure of their own.

The top-down view keeps your surroundings and enemies in sight, so you can plan each fight. Combat is unforgiving: a single wrong move can end your run, and the rhythmic combo mechanics reward good timing.

Characters, random dungeons and bosses

You can take on the monsters with several characters, each with very different special abilities, so you can pick one that suits your style. Powers can be combined to build deadly combos.

Maps are randomly generated, so you never face the same layout or enemies twice. The dungeons span three chapters, each packed with intense battles and vicious bosses.

Dark visual effects, mysterious sound design and a brooding soundtrack round out the atmosphere.
