Plague Inc. APK download for Android: the game and how it plays

Plague Inc. is one of the best-known simulation games on mobile, with more than 100 million downloads on Android. It is published by Miniclip and developed by Ndemic Creations.

Each run starts with a choice: the country where your disease first appears. From there, you evolve its symptoms and make it tougher. You can help it survive different climates, resist medicine, and spread through new transmission routes.

The real challenge is the clock. Medical teams around the world race to develop a cure, and you have to stay ahead of them. Winning takes careful planning rather than reckless moves.

Fun fact: the game came out several years before the COVID-19 outbreak, so it was not inspired by it.

Disease types and game content

There are 12 different disease types to play, and each one calls for its own strategy. A plan that works with one type may fail with another, so every run feels fresh.

The map covers more than 50 countries and millions of people. An advanced outbreak AI drives how the infection spreads, so the world reacts realistically to every decision you make.

The game features HD graphics and a clear, engaging interface. Your progress is saved automatically as you advance, so you won’t lose anything if you close the app.

Requirements and installing the XAPK file

You need Android 7.0 or higher to run Plague Inc. The download is about 119 MB. No internet connection is needed to play.
