Ninja Ryuko: Shadow Ninja Game for Android

Looking for a stylish ninja adventure on mobile? This page offers the Ninja Ryuko APK download for Android, latest version 1.5.3 as an XAPK. Also known as Ryuko Legend of Shadow Hunter, the game comes from the Swiss studio Horizon Games Inc., the team behind Takashi Ninja Warrior. It is free to play and works offline.

Ninja Ryuko story and gameplay

The game draws on Japanese legend. Peaceful villagers form an alliance to keep order and security, which enrages an evil samurai named Kurome. He raises an army of demonic forces and launches a surprise attack that wipes out the alliance. Only Ryuko survives, a young girl and the daughter of one of its leaders.

Having lost her family and friends, Ryuko sets out with her katana to take revenge on Kurome and his soldiers. A female lead is a welcome change in a genre usually led by male heroes.

You play from a third-person view, moving freely with a full 360-degree camera, much like console open-world games. If you have played Takashi Ninja Warrior, you will feel at home quickly, since the look and gameplay are very similar.

Regions, combat and content

Ryuko travels across five legendary regions, fighting corrupt ninjas on her way to free Master Taguchi. Combat mixes direct sword fights using a range of blades and advanced martial skills with stealth sections, such as sneaking past and defeating fire demons in the dark forest.

Powerful bosses wait on epic battlefields. Between fights, hunter strongholds let you rest, upgrade and save your progress, and fast travel between regions keeps the pace smooth. New weapons, skills and items help you grow Ryuko into a stronger fighter.

Requirements and installing the XAPK

Ninja Ryuko needs Android 7.0 or higher, the download is about 202 MB, and the game is rated 17+ for combat violence.

The file comes as an XAPK, so you will need an XAPK installer app. Download the file, open it with the installer, wait for the data to be copied, then launch the game and play without an internet connection.
