Story and Gameplay of Murders on Budapest!

You play as Doyle, a climber heading up a snow-covered mountain. The weather quickly turns against him, and a blizzard leaves him lost. Wandering blind through the snow, he finds a young woman lying on the ground, close to passing out.

Doyle stops to help, and soon another group of climbers arrives at the same spot. Together they reach a large mansion nearby and ask the host for warmth and food. He welcomes them in, but strange events begin almost at once, starting with the murder of one of the people who came in with you.

The game is driven by conversations between Doyle and the other characters. You pick your replies and actions, and those decisions directly shape the story. The plot draws on the film The Grand Budapest Hotel, though it has been heavily reworked into its own tale.
