What is Murder: Be The King?

Looking for a small game that tests your nerves and timing? Our Murder: Be The King APK download for Android gives you the latest version, 1.9.3, as a 28 MB XAPK file. Developed by Vietnamese studio Davik Universe and released free on Google Play, it plays fully offline.

About Murder: Be The King and How It Plays

The game is a rebuilt Android port of Murder, a browser game Studio Seufz released in 2014. Its structure, look and core idea stay faithful to that original.

You start as a servant close enough to the king to stroll beside him through the palace. Your goal: kill him without being noticed. Draw your knife and hold your finger on the screen until the bar at the top fills. When it does, your character stabs the king and takes the crown.

The catch is that the king glances over his shoulder suddenly and at random. If he turns while you are charging the bar, you are exposed, the guards drag you off to prison, and you start again. Success comes down to precise timing: finish the job fast or hide your blade before he looks.

Life on the Throne and Game Content

Once you become king, the roles flip. New assassins walk behind you with the same plan, and you must tap the screen at exactly the right moment to turn around and catch their betrayal.

The game is fairly hard, and its real hook is chasing better high scores. As you progress, or by watching video ads, you can get better gear such as faster daggers. Its humorous tone and funny comic-style art keep every failed attempt amusing rather than frustrating.

Murder: Be The King holds a 4.0 out of 5 rating, passed 100,000 downloads in a short time, and is rated 10+.
