MONOPOLY GO APK download for Android: how the game plays

The core loop will feel familiar. You roll the dice, move around the board and buy properties as you work your way toward becoming a wealthy tycoon. The rules are largely unchanged, with only a handful of new items added.

Luck still matters every time the dice land, but building a fortune and managing your properties well is what separates casual players from the ones who dominate the board.

Colourful 3D graphics, smooth animations, cheerful music and simple controls make it approachable for players of any age.

Modes and content

Online play is the main draw. You can challenge friends remotely or compete against players worldwide, raid other players’ cities and defend your own assets.

Where the original board takes place in a single city, MONOPOLY GO offers multiple boards and cities with different themes, each bringing its own challenges.

• Daily events, tournaments and timed challenges with special rewards.
• Sticker albums that unlock prizes and rare items.
• A level-based progression system that opens new features as you play.

The game is free to play, with optional in-app purchases for cosmetic items and faster progress. It has passed 50 million downloads on Google Play with a user rating of around 4.6 out of 5.
