Minecraft Earth for Android

Minecraft Earth takes the famous blocks off the screen and drops them into your street, park or living room. This page offers the Minecraft Earth APK download for Android, version 0.33.0. The game is made by Mojang together with Microsoft Studios and is the second official spin-off set in the Minecraft universe.

What is Minecraft Earth and how does it play?

The game is built around augmented reality (AR), the same idea Niantic popularized with Pokémon GO. Instead of building inside a closed virtual world, you point your phone or tablet camera at real places and place blocks and 3D models on top of them.

As you play, you gather a variety of items from different sources and then use them to create structures, just like in the original Minecraft. The AR system is smart: it reads uneven surfaces and lighting conditions and scales objects to fit the space your camera sees, so picking the right spot matters.

Content and multiplayer in Minecraft Earth

Minecraft Earth works as an online community. You can interact with players around the world and team up to build impressive creations together.

• Plant something in one location and watch it grow over time.
• Build Minecraft-style structures in your real surroundings.
• Meet well-known characters from the series.

It is aimed especially at Minecraft fans and is rated 10+.

Requirements and installing the APK

You need Android 8.0 or later, and the APK is about 63 MB. The game does not work offline and requires a Microsoft account.

• Download the APK and install it on your device.
• Make sure you are online, launch the game and wait for the extra data (around 200 MB) to download on first launch.
• Sign in with your Microsoft account from the Login option.
• Accept the terms, then tap Let’s Play.

Note: Mojang officially ended the Minecraft Earth service in 2021, so server-based features may no longer work as before.
