Veteran players will spot the inspiration right away: the game takes everything that made the classic Excitebike fun and brings it up to date. Races are split into levels, and in each one you need to overtake your rival, take first place and collect points and rewards.

The controls are minimal. Two buttons on the left handle throttle and brake, and two on the right control the lean of your bike. Finishing levels unlocks new bike parts, while missions and races earn you XP and coins. Spend them on upgrades for speed, acceleration, balance and nitro, or customize your rider with helmets, gloves and outfits.
