About Janes Farm and How It Plays

The story is set in the 1930s, a decade of economic hardship. You play as Jane, a young woman who buys a small farm to grow crops, raise livestock and build the life she dreams of, a bold move few would risk in those years.

With help from her husband and grandparents, Jane sets out to make the farm prosper, and you handle the management. Plant vegetables and fruit trees, harvest them for income, and care for cows, chickens and sheep to collect animal products.

Expanding the farm and putting up new buildings requires resources like stone and wood, which you buy with money earned from selling the food you produce.

Modes and Content

A large map shows items and locations, and through it you meet other farmers and work with them. Story missions drive your progress, while levels bring rising resource-management challenges.

As the farm grows, you can become a food company, opening factories that make canned goods and even a textile and clothing factory using animal hides and wool. A points system unlocks new features and land, and you can upgrade buildings and equipment and use special tools to speed up farming.
