This is a fantasy role-playing game built around turn-based combat. Victory comes from planning: choosing the right team composition, timing skills and exploiting enemy Weakness to trigger a Break. Every character also has a signature Ultimate ability.

You explore in third person, using the Astral Express train as a moving base that carries you between planets. The story centers on the threat of the Stellaron, a danger to the balance of the galaxy that you must confront.

The game is set within the wider miHoYo universe. Each title tells its own story, but players familiar with earlier games will spot familiar faces and connections along the way.

Modes and content

The roster includes more than 30 playable characters with anime-inspired designs, professional voice acting and unique skills. Worlds range from a space station and a frozen planet to a city of festivities and dreamlike realms.

Beyond the main story missions, there are daily challenges and seasonal events with special rewards, along with endgame modes such as Simulated Universe, Forgotten Hall and advanced PvE content.

Character progression runs through Relics, Light Cones and Paths, giving you plenty of room to fine-tune each hero. Cinematic 3D graphics, advanced lighting and an orchestral soundtrack with themes for each region and character round out the experience.
