About Hard Time and How It Plays

You arrive as a new convict among inmates, guards and prison staff. Staying out of trouble is only part of the job: you also manage your daily routine, eating, drinking and sleeping enough to stay healthy, and keeping your mind in shape by reading or watching TV.

Your character grows based on what you do. Working out builds strength, running improves agility and reading books raises intelligence. Completing different tasks earns you reputation, so other prisoners start to respect you.

You can talk to, team up with or fight the other characters, and use special items and tools found around the prison, all wrapped in a comic style with a strong streak of dark humor.

Missions and Content

Hard Time offers daily missions and prison challenges, from brawls and trials to everyday routines. A points system drives progression and unlocks new abilities over time.

Customize your main character with outfits and items.
Manage health, energy and social relationships.
