In the Middle Ages, professional fighters climbed the ranks by winning deadly bouts, and many who proved their skill were recruited by kingdoms as loyal knights. The game builds on that idea: you start as an ordinary brawler and work through dozens of stages to turn him into a skilled, powerful knight.

Combat uses ragdoll physics, so it feels like you are pulling the strings of a puppet. Each hand is controlled separately. Touch the right side of the screen and your weapon swings exactly along the path your finger draws; touch the left side to block with a shield or strike with whatever is in your other hand. Double-tap a spot to step forward. A tutorial walks you through these controls the first time you play.

Chaining physical attacks lets you build strong combos. The visuals are cartoonish and goofy, but the fighting itself is bloody and violent.
